The town of Tromsö is in the Scandinavian Arctic region, Lapland, is located in a beautiful place between fjords and mountains. Since it is a university town, the streets are lively during warm summer months. Not many buildings survived the Second World War (there are a few in the city center), but modern architecture in Norway is often fascinating.
